Chief instructor Ghukas Stepanyan was born on April 16, 1977 in Yerevan, Armenia. At 12 years old he began his boxing career until he joined the Armenian National Army in 1995. His interest in Kyokushin Karate emerged in 1997 after his return from the army. He soon joined the Kyokushin group under Murad Kspoyan and from then on he enhanced his Kyokushin skills for the following years.
- In July 1999, he won 3rd place in the National Armenian Kyokushin Tournament.
- In December 1999, he won 3rd place in the Oyama's Cup Tournament of Armenia.
- In December 2000, he won 1st place in the Armenian Kyokushin Open Tournament.
- In March 2001, he visited Japan and passed his 1st dan black belt test through the Midori Group.
- In July 2001, he won 1st place in National Armenian Kyokushin Tournament.
- In August 2002, he participated in Georgia's Kovkas Open Tournament.
- In 2003, he permanently moved to Los Angeles California with his family.
- In November 2003, he participated in the Kyokushin-kan Japan Open tournaments.
- In May 2004, he participated in the All Japan weight Tournament.
- Ghukas Stepanyan has earned 3 different black belts in 3 different federations; Shinkyoukshin, Kyokushinkai, and Kyokushin-Kan.
Ghukas Stepanyan continues to develop his kyokushin skills and continues to strive for the best training for all his students.
